# Roma reportedly demanding €30m for West Ham target Dzeko

Roma are willing to let West Ham target Edin Dzeko leave this summer, but will reportedly demand an eye-watering sum for his sale.

According to claims from Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited in a report from [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/roma-richiesta-fuori-mercato-per-il-cartellino-di-dzeko-27246), the Italian side are ready to demand a considerable fee worth €30 million for their striker.

Dzeko has just over one year remaining on his current deal at Stadio Olimpico, but Roma are unwilling to let him leave for anything less than a premium price.

West Ham have been heavily [linked with a move](https://readwestham.com/2019/03/15/inter-milan-and-west-ham-set-to-battle-for-edin-dzeko/) to sign the Bosnian forward in the summer, with Manuel Pellegrini understood to be targeting a reunion with the former Manchester City star.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s report claims that several clubs have been put off by Roma’s valuation of the 33-year-old, with Inter Milan not prepared to spend big on Dzeko.

West Ham already have a plethora of experienced strikers within the ranks, and could be reluctant to pay €30 million on yet another ageing front-man.
