West Ham may miss out on their January transfer target Gabriel Barbosa due to the striker not being eligible for a British work permit, according to the Express.
The report states that Gabigol may not be granted a permit to play in England, if he wanted to move to the Premier League.
The Brazilian, who has flopped since joining Inter in 2016, is reportedly open to a Premier League switch, and wants to “try an experience in the Premier League” according to Sky Sport Italia.
In Brazil, Gabriel notched 18 goals in 35 games for Santos, and could help West Ham going forward.
Inter are looking to offload the striker, who has never really settled in Italy after moving from Santos in 2016.
Gabigol was loaned out to Benfica in 2017, but only made one appearance in Portugal.
The striker has only scored once for Inter as well, only making 9 appearances for the Italian giants.
