West Ham are on fire.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have won five out of six in December, and will look to finish the month off with another win in Lancashire.
Burnley are struggling for form at the moment, and the Irons faithful will be hoping they can capitalise on their adversary’s sticky patch.
Here’s how we think they might line up:
West Ham predicted XI: Burnley (A)
GK: Lukasz Fabianski
Given the amount of money coughed up for him, the signing of Fabianski could be considered one of the savviest buys of the season.
RB: Pablo Zabaleta
Given Thursday off, Manuel Pellegrini is likely to call on his veteran defender once again.
CB: Issa Diop
The youngster plays like a man beyond his years. Terrific centre-half.
CB: Angelo Ogbonna
Ogbonna has started both of West Ham’s games either side of Christmas.
LB: Aaron Cresswell
On his return to the lineup on Thursday, Cresswell turned in a superb performance against Southampton.
DM: Mark Noble
Noble came off the bench against Southampton for the last ten minutes, and will have fresh legs against Burnley.
DM: Declan Rice
An incredible performance against Southampton means that many people around the league are currently talking about Declan Rice.
RM: Robert Snodgra
‘Snodders’, (given he’s one year removed from a year in the Championship) perhaps surprisingly, has found a home in this Hammers lineup.
LM: Felipe Anderson
He’s so good. Like, just, so good.
ST: Michail Antonio
Right back one week, striker the next. The life of Michail Antonio!
ST: Lucas Perez
The Spaniard started against Southampton, before being hooked fifteen minutes from time.
