# Sabitzer backs Arna utovic for Manchester United move

Marko Arnautovic’s international teammate Marcel Sabitzer has claimed that the West Ham forward would be a great signing for Manchester United.

RB Leipzig midfielder Sabitzer has claimed that Arnautovic is ready to compete at the highest level and impress.

The Austrian, Arnautovic, is currently out with an injury and is set to be out for most of January.

Arnautovic came off with a hamstring injury during West Ham’s 3-1 win over Cardiff, a game in which Lucas Perez started up front and scored twice.

However, Arnautovic will still be a big loss to Manuel Pellegrini’s side, with it expected that he will be out for at least a month. [https://en.as.com/en/2018/12/12/football/1544634104_821510.html](https://en.as.com/en/2018/12/12/football/1544634104_821510.html)

[Speaking to AS](https://en.as.com/en/2018/12/12/football/1544634104_821510.html), Sabitzer said this:

> Marko is a great guy. I get along well with him and we have played together for a long time with the national team. We are good friends and once went on holiday together. I like him a lot and I think he feels the same way about me.

> Everybody can see that he has athletic qualities. He had a lack of maturity and luck in Germany and I think he knows that. But his performances in England the past few years have demonstrated his real class and I can see the same in terms of the national team.

> That’s why I believe that he can make another step forward and play a major role there \[at Manchester United\]. I cross my fingers for him.
