Arnautovic fires back on social media after West Ham departure rumours

West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic has fired back on social media after rumours that the striker could leave West Ham this Summer.

After comments by the players agent in Austria, Arnautovic has been linked with a move away from West Ham in the January transfer window.

The striker has been West Ham’s key man this season, and has impressed many with his performances for the Hammers.

In response to an Instagram post by West Ham fan account “WestHamUnitedNow” on the platform, Arnautovic responded with “⚒ enough answer”

The response suggests that Arnautovic could stay at West Ham, despite his agent’s comments about his future.

Speaking in Austria, the player’s brother, who is also his agent, told newspaper Kurier, via the Mirror, that:

He’s already playing in the Premier League and that’s where the best players are. But for a player like Marko this cannot be the end.

He’s a big part of West Ham’s team but I think it’s possible to tease out more of him.

For that to happen, he has to play for a top team. Marko is ready for the next step. A player like him should not play against relegation. He should play for the international spots.

Marko is really enjoying playing for West Ham. He loves that club and the fans. But there is still that feeling, that this cannot be the end. And everybody should understand that.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Austrian, alongside Everton and Chelsea.
