# Tottenham duo Eriksen and Dembele fit West Ham game

Tottenham are set for a major fitness boost ahead of the meeting with West Ham, as both Christian Eriksen and Moussa Dembele are expected to return to action.

[Speaking ahead of the game, as reported by the Independent](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/tottenham-team-news-dele-alli-injury-latest-update-premier-league-epl-pochettino-a8590386.html), Mauricio Pochettino explained that the two players are likely to be back in the team.

> It was a good time for us because we are going to recover a few players like Christian and Mousa Dembele.

Eriksen has been sidelined with a nasty abdominal injury, that at one period seemed like it could be a serious long-term problem for the player, but that no longer appears to be the case.

Meanwhile, Dembele has been out of action with a thigh injury but could feature at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The game, however, has come too quickly for key midfielder Dele Alli, [who will miss the game](https://readwestham.com/2018/10/18/dele-alli-unavailable-for-west-ham-match/).

West Ham themselves have [been boosted with the news](https://readwestham.com/2018/10/18/pellegrini-confirms-arnautovic-fit-for-spurs-clash/) that Marko Arnautovic has been given the all clear to feature, with the Hammers looking to continue their recent upturn in form.
