Pellegrini confirms Arnautovic fit for Spurs clash
West Ham have been handed a huge fitness boost ahead of their clash with Spurs, with Marko Arnautovic fit enough to start.
Manuel Pellegrini revealed the news ahead of the weekend’s match, with Arnautovic having trained ahead of the clash.
The Austrian was on international duty last week with Austria, scoring the winner against Northern Ireland.
Speaking ahead of the weekend’s game, Pellegrini said:
Marko is okay. He has worked with our squad without any problems.
He worked when he returned from his national squad, where he played just one game for Austria.
We must be careful with his knee, but it allows for him to play in games.
Pellegrini also revealed that the Hammers have no fresh injury worries ahead of the game with West Ham’s fierce rivals.
I think, for all clubs, it is a similar thing to have important players out of the squad for ten days or so. But the rest of the group has worked very well.
Yarmolenko arrived today and he was the last that was away, so normally there are not any problems.
West Ham take on Spurs on Saturday at the London Stadium.
