# Adrian feels he is at his best

West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has claimed that he is feeling at his best at the moment, despite being the second choice in goal.

Pellegrini has opted for Fabianski as his number one this campaign, with the Polish international impressing so far.

Fabianski was brought in from relegated Swansea over the summer and he has been heavily praised since his arrival due to his good form.

Adrian has been reduced to a cup role and is starting against Macclesfield in the League Cup.

[Speaking to Football London](https://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/players/west-ham-latest-news-adrian-15203946), Adrian said this:

> I am still here and can help the team in the cup and, when I have the opportunity, I have to give my best to show the manager I’m in my top condition.

> In training, I am feeling better than ever! I’m in good shape and I’m training very well. The manager has decided to play with Lukasz in the league, but I need to keep my form in every opportunity I can and to show that I have a good level.
