West Ham take on Bournemouth this weekend, with the Hammers looking to recover from their opening day defeat to Liverpool.
The Hammers suffered a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool on the opening weekend, with Manuel Pellegrini’s stint as West Ham boss starting in the worst possible fashion.
However, the Chilean will be looking to secure his first win as West Ham boss in his first competitive match at the Olympic Stadium against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.
Lucas Perez could be in line to make his debut for West Ham after his deadline day switch from Arsenal, whilst Carlos Sanchez is a doubt after only just returning from his World Cup break.
Bournemouth will be without Diego Rico, who is suspended after his ban from La Liga carried over to the Premier League, whilst Junior Stanislas is still unavailable through injury.
Here’s how we predict West Ham will line up against the Cherries this weekend.
GK: Lukasz Fabianski
Lukasz will be the number one this season. Sure to start.
RB: Ryan Fredericks
Despite a sketchy performance on the opening weekend, the former Fulham man will surely be given another go.
CB: Issa Diop
Issa Diop might make his debut for the Hammers, after the performance by others on the opening day.
CB: Angelo Ogbonna
Ogbonna started last week, and will probably get the call again.
LB: Arthur Masuaku
Despite the opening weekend defeat, Masuaku will surely be handed another start.
CM: Mark Noble
Noble should continue his ever-present run in the West Ham side.
CM: Declan Rice
Rice will surely return despite being subbed week one.
CAM: Jack Wilshere
Wilshere should return to make his first start at the Olympic Stadium.
RW: Michail Antonio
Michail Antonio should return to the Wham side again, after playing in the 4-0 opening weekend defeat.
ST: Marco Arnautovic
The Austrian played up front against Liverpool, and could return despite picking up a knock.
