Pellegrini looking to offload Hammers fringe players
While the current transfer window closed on Thursday, West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini revealed to Sky Sports that there could still be some changes to the team before the end of the month.
English Football League and overseas sides are still able to trade until the end of August, so Pellegrini could offload some of the fringe players, either on loan or sale to lower league sides.
Maybe it is one of the most difficult things for a manager because all of them want to play. If there is a better player, then there is more problems. For me as a manager, it is easier to have more good players, and some of them must wait, but to have that option to change.
The Hammers were one of the most active teams during the transfer window, right up until the final day with the signing of Carlos Sanchez on a permanent deal.
The team begin their 2018-19 season this weekend away at Anfield as they go up against Jurgen Klopp’s new look Liverpool.
