# Hugill set to undergo Middlesbrough medical

West Ham striker Jordan Hugill is set to undergo a medical at Middlesbrough ahead of his move to the club.

Hugill has arrived to complete his medical and is expected to be confirmed as a Middlesbrough player later today.

Sky Sports claimed earlier today that Middlesbrough are eager to get the deal done after they sold Adama Traore to Wolves for £18m and Patrick Bamford to Leeds for £7m.

Hugill is said to be keen to join Middlesbrough, as he seeks regular game time next season.

Aston Villa are also interested in Hugill, but the forward grew up supporting Boro and would prefer a move to teeside.

Hugill is set to leave West Ham as the club look to sign a new striker of their own, with Moussa Marega heavily linked with a switch to England.
