West Ham are well-stocked with options in the middle of the park following the arrival of Jack Wilshere and Obiang looks set to return to Italy, having spent five successful years there prior to his move to the Premier League in 2015.

The report from Corriere Della Sera indicates that Atalanta have lodged a bid worth €1 million to take Obiang on a season-long loan, and are also negotiating a clause which will allow them to sign him permanently for a fee of €9m.
