# West Ham kick off Premier League campaign away at Liverpool

Manuel Pellegrini will travel to Anfield for the first game of the season and his first game in charge of West Ham United, it has been [confirmed](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/premier-league-fixtures-201819-announced-12691625?22).

The Premier League fixtures for the new season have been confirmed and the Hammers face a difficult opening day.

The former City boss’ first game back in the Premier League will see him go head-to-head with Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool themselves will be looking to make a strong start to their campaign following a busy summer of transfers.

Unfortunately for Pellegrini, the West Ham squad and supporters will not take much hope from the two fixtures last season.

At the London Stadium, Klopp’s men came away 4-1 victors, while the Reds secured another three points at Anfield with the same scoreline.

As with every year, fixtures and kick-off times are all subject to change as and when the relevant games are chosen for broadcasting.
