West Ham reject chance to sign Joe Hart

West Ham have reportedly rejected the opportunity to sign Joe Hart on a permanent deal, according to Metro.

The England stopper joined the Hammers last Summer, with Pep Guardiola deciding that Hart was not good enough for his Man City side. The Hammers agreed to paid half of Hart’s £120,000 a week wages.

However, Hart’s time at the Olympic Stadium has been a turbulent one, with the loan star being dropped for the majority of the season.

The Hammers did have an option to buy Hart this Summer, however, they have not decided to take the club up on their offer.

Metro also report that West Ham will let Adrian leave in the Summer, and want a new number one keeper.

Hart will speak to Manchester City this Summer about his future, with his contract set to expire next Summer. It is not clear if Hart will be making the trip to Russia this Summer, with his fluctuating form being a key issue.
