West Ham reportedly have no interest in signing Russian striker Fedor Smolov, according to the Evening Standard.
Smolov had expressed an interest in signing for West Ham before this Summer’s World Cup in Russia. The Krasnodar striker had been close to a move in January on loan, with a view to a permanent £12 million deal during the Summer.
The Russian, who has scored 14 goals in 24 appearances in the top flight of Russian football, is apparently not on West Ham’s radar however. The Evening Standard report that Smolov was never close to a move, and that West Ham are unlikely to go back in for the striker.
Moyes does have an interest in three players from Fulham however, who he was scouting at the weekend.
Aleksandar Mitrovic, on loan from Newcastle, Ryan Sessengon and Ryan Fredericks are all on David Moyes’ radar, along with James Maddison from Norwich City.
