West Ham player ratings: Swansea (A)
West Ham’s poor form continued as the Hammers suffered a hammering defeat on the road to relegation-threatened Swansea City.
Carlos Carvahal’s side have seen an up-turn in form since the Portuguese boss was appointed as manager, and that form continued against David Moyes’ side.
Goals from Ki Sung-yueng, Mike van der Hoorn, Andy King and Jordan Ayew put the Hammers to the sword in a performance David Moyes called “Impossible to assess” and “Embarrassing”.
West Ham also suffered a blow, with Winston Reid being taken off in the first half on a stretcher, with what looks to be a serious injury.
Michail Antonio scored a consolation goal for West Ham, but it was no use as the Hammers slipped to fourteenth in the Premier League table.
The result leaves West Ham only 3 points off the relegation zone, whilst Swansea move above them on goal difference, with Carlos Carvahal leading a revival for the Swans since his appointment.
Here’s how we rated the performance of the West Ham players, after another disappointing defeat on the road for the Hammers.
