West Ham Team News: Brighton (A)

Injuries meant West Ham were forced to field six recognised defenders in the starting eleven for the match against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night, including Pablo Zabaleta playing in midfield, but the boys were able to battle for a draw which has elongated the club’s recent positive run.

In addition to Joao Mario, West Ham signed Jordan Hugill from Preston on transfer deadline day and David Moyes has confirmed the striker is available for the trip to Brighton tomorrow.

I’m hoping Jordan Hugill can have as a big an impact as Antonio and Cresswell (after being signed from a Championship club). I think he’s ready. I think it’ll take him a bit of time to get used to his new surroundings, but he won’t let us down.

Moyes has also confirmed that Michail Antonio could also be in line to feature after more than six weeks out with a groin injury, but centre-backs Jose Fonte and Winston Reid are still not ready to start.

With that in mind, here is our predicted XI.
