# Preston agree fee with Hammers for striker

Preston have today agreed a fee with West Ham over their striker Jordan Hugill according to [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/42825458).

Hugill is travelling to London as we speak to complete the medical and to help to finalize the deal to take him to the Premier League club.

A number of other Premier League clubs were interested in the player including Crystal Palace but it now appears that the player is favouring a move to the London Stadium.

The 25-year-old has been at the club for four years playing over 80 games in the process and will be a huge miss but the Hammers have got themselves a fine player.

He has got a wide range of experience at a host of clubs throughout the football league but it seems that his time is done and will make the move to the Premier League.

He’s a typical English striker and the deal should go through before tonight’s deadline.
