West Ham player ratings: Huddersfield Town (A)
West Ham put in a great performance to run out 4-1 winners at the John Smith’s stadium against Huddersfield.
The result means the Hammers stretch their unbeaten run to five games, whilst Huddersfield suffered defeat with new signing Alex Pritchard unable to help proceedings.
West Ham took the lead early on through long time stalwart Mark Noble. Huddersfield equalised just before the break, with Joe Lolley volleying home to leave the game level going into half time.
It wouldn’t take long for West Ham to retake the lead, with Marko Arnautovic scoring just after the second half kicked off.
Manuel Lanzini then added two goals, as the Hammers finished off the Terriers in spectacular style.
The result leaves West Ham in eleventh place, five points clear of Stoke in eighteenth. It also opens the possibility of West Ham challenging for a Europa League spot.
