We’re already four days into the January transfer window and West Ham have been focusing on a congested fixture list as opposed to recruiting new talent for the time being, but that will likely change in the near future.

The Hammers’ league form has improved of late, losing just one of the last six Premier League games, winning three and incredibly unfortunate to not come away with all the spoils at Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

David Moyes’ side travel to Wembley tonight to take on Tottenham before an FA Cup clash with Shrewsbury on the weekend, two hurdles Moyes would like to clear before addressing adding new players.

Admitting that he would like to add players to his threadbare squad this month, Moyes must get January right if he is to succeed in helping the Hammers avoid relegation, and we break down five things Moyes must do in the next few weeks.
