# West Ham and Everton keeping tabs on teenage star Kiprit

Premier League sides West Ham United and Everton are both keeping a close eye on Hertha Berlin’s 18-year-old attacker Muhammed Kiprit, according to a report on German publication [Kicker](https://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/710593/artikel_premier-league-klubs-an-hertha-talent-interessiert.html).

Kiprit has been in incredible goalscoring form for the Hertha Berlin youth side and has managed to find the back of the net eight times in 10 appearances this season.

This is a continuation of last season where the young Turkish star netted 19 goals in 25 appearances and it is his goalscoring trait that has attracted the Premier League clubs.

The forward knows how to convert chances into goals and always poses a danger when inside the box.

Hertha Berlin head coach Pal Dardai said:

> I’ve known him for a long time, he’s still a bit shy with us, he has not trained with us so many times.

> He’s really dangerous at A-youth. He has good thighs, he is good at holding the ball and scoring goals, let’s see.

The youngster still hasn’t signed a professional contract with Hertha Berlin yet and was in talks with fellow German club Vfl Wolfsburg last week but now West Ham are hopeful of securing his signature.

Hertha are quite open to letting the player leave and West Ham believe he is best suited in London where he can develop further.
