# Alvaro Arbeloa celebrates Slaven Bilic’s sacking

Former West Ham defender Alvaro Arbeloa has stuck the boot in on Slaven Bilic after the Croatian was sacked by the club earlier today.

Arbeloa was signed by Bilic at the start of last season but he was released at the end of the campaign after having made just four competitive appearances, three in the league and one in the EFL Cup and it looks like there is no love lost between him and his former manager.

The former Liverpool and Real Madrid full-back never really had the chance to prove himself at West Ham and it looks like he still holds a grudge against Bilic for that.

West Ham look set to announce David Moyes as the club’s manager on a short-term basis with the Scotsman reportedly ready to start work as early as tomorrow as he plans to turn the Hammers’ season around.
