# West Ham reportedly scout Badou NDiaye

West Ham were heavily linked with a move for Badou Ndiaye in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers were among a host of top flight clubs keeping an eye on the powerful midfielder, who had been in impressive form for Osmanlispor last season.

However, Turkish giants Galatasaray beat West Ham to his signature, and fended off competition from many Premier League clubs.

Despite this though, it looks as though the Hammers are still keeping tabs on the 27-year-old. According to a report from [Sporx](https://www.sporx.com/badou-ndiayeyi-trabzonda-4-ingiliz-kulubu-izleyecek-SXHBQ663923SXQ), a news outlet in Turkey, West Ham had representatives watching Ndiaye in action recently.

Galatasaray were not in the best form, though, and were dealt with their first league defeat of the 2017/18 campaign so far. Trabzonspor ran out as 2-1 victors on the day, and Ndiaye flattered to deceive.

The Senegalese midfielder was sent off late in the match as tempers flared, perhaps indicating that he will need to become more disciplined if he is to progress.
