# Adrian currently ‘not happy’ at West Ham

West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has spoken out on his future, stating he is currently ‘not happy’ in London playing second fiddle to current number one Joe Hart, say [sport witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/now-im-not-happy-west-ham-player-says-bilic-decision-means-transfer-cards/) who cite Marca.

The Spaniard hasn’t given up on earning an international call up, which looks extremely unlikely at this moment in time with Manchester United’s David de Gea currently Spain’s number one.

Adrian’s only appearances this season have come in the Carabao Cup fixtures against Cheltenham Town and Bolton Wanderers, a competition Slaven Bilic’s side are still in, but the keeper has had to settle for a place on the bench in all the Hammers’ Premier League fixtures so far.

Talking on a Spanish radio station the 30-year-old keeper claimed he will continue to fight for his place, but is currently unhappy at the London Stadium and may well look for a move in the upcoming January window, with his current deal set to expire in the summer.

Adrian said:

> The coach isn’t giving me much ball, although my data for the last four seasons is there and I will continue fighting. If the situation continues, the market opens again in December and if not, in the summer. I have one year left, so we have to reach an agreement because now I’m not happy.
