# West Ham eye Bologna duo

West Ham reportedly sent scouts to watch Bologna duo Simone Verdi and Adam Masina on Tuesday night.

According to Italian news outlet [TMW](https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/bologna/?action=read&idnet=Ym9sb2duYW5ld3MubmV0LTEwNTkx), the Hammers had representatives cast a keen eye over Bologna’s fixture against Inter Milan. The game finished as a 1-1 draw, with Verdi opening the scoring before Mauro Icardi struck to equalise late on.

Verdi in particular has enjoyed a positive start to the new season, and is already catching the eyes of clubs across the continent.

Masina, on the other hand, is more of an unsung hero in the Bologna side. He’s been playing at left-back this season under Roberto Donadoni, and it looks as though he’s one of the men who West Ham are looking at.

Bologna are currently sat in 13th place on the Serie A table, but will know that players of Verdi and Masina’s quality can help them to make a push for a successful campaign.
