# Sporting to report West Ham to FIFA over Carvalho approach

The William Carvalho saga continues to reach new lows for West Ham to further their abysmal start to the new Premier League season.

After the club leaked what is claimed to be confidential emails confirming they made offers to Sporting for Carvalho – despite the key recipient information being censored and therefore doesn’t definitively clarify anything – the Liga NOS club have responded and it’s not good news.

Sporting maintain that they have not received any offer from West Ham for the 25-year-old midfielder and West Ham still haven’t provided proof that offers were delivered and received by the Portuguese side.

This has led to one assumption: West Ham have illegally approached Carvalho and his representatives over a summer move to the Premier League and [Sporting have threatened to report the Hammers to FIFA](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/sporting-lisbon-report-west-ham-11126079) in relation to this allegation.

West Ham are yet to respond to Sporting’s latest claim as this back-and-forth continues to spiral out of control and David’s Gold and Sullivan have embroiled themselves in a truly farcical situation. Stay classy, West Ham.
