# West Ham reject Rennes bid for Sakho

West Ham have reportedly rejected a bid from Ligue 1 side Rennes for out of favour striker Diafra Sakho.

According to Football London’s Sam Inkersole, the Hammers have turned down the French side’s initial approach for the striker, who has made three appearances off the bench for West Ham in the Premier League this season.

Sakho is expected to be offloaded in the final days of the window as Slaven Bilic seemingly deems him surplus to requirements at the London Stadium.

Inkersole states that a fee in the region of £10 million would be enough to lure the Senegalese front man away from West Ham this summer, and the club will now wait to see if an improved offer comes in from Rennes.

Sakho, allegedly, was spotted arriving at the airport in Rennes, indicating that there could be confidence of a deal being struck.
