# West Ham reportedly have no option to buy Hart

West Ham confirmed that they had secured Joe Hart on a season-long loan today, but [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/app/transfer-centre) are claiming that the Hammers have no option to buy at the end of the season.

It was initially reported across the English media that included in the loan deal was a clause that would allow West Ham to have first refusal over a move for Hart at the end of the season, if they are keen to keep him at the club.

However, Sky Sports have today dismissed these claims and have suggested that the loan deal is a standard one, with no additional clauses.

Hart had been frozen out of Manchester City by manager Pep Guardiola, and was able to seek pastures new this summer.

The Hammers had been long-linked with a move for the England international but today announced that they had signed him ahead of the 2017/18 season.
