# West Ham join the race to sign Juventus midfielder

West Ham have joined Watford and Everton in the race to sign Mario Lemina from Juventus this summer.

The [Hertfordshire Mercury](https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/west-ham-join-the-race-for-watford-target/story-30438671-detail/story.html) reports that the West Ham are interested in the player who Juventus value at roughly €20 million.

There is also thought to be interest from Sevilla, Galatasaray and Bayer Leverkusen for the player.

Slaven Bilic is out to strengthen his squad this summer after a disappointing Premier League campaign last season.

Lemina is a versatile option in the middle of the park but can also feature out wide if needed.

Despite making 31 appearances for the Turin side last season, Lemina is thought to be considering his future at the club as he goes in search of regular first-team football.

With the World Cup coming up at the end of the season, Lemina, like many players next season, will be desperate to get as much football under his belt.
