# West Ham keen on Stoke target Martins Indi

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is thought to be interested in bringing Stoke City target Bruno Martins Indi to the London Stadium, according to reports from [Sportwitness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-keen-snatch-stoke-city-transfer-target-away-take-look/).

They claim that multiple Portuguese and English media organisations have stated that West Ham are ‘keen’ on the player who spent last season on loan at Stoke City and are willing to make their interest concrete with an offer for the central defender.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes was impressed with Martins Indi during the previous campaign and would like to make the Dutchman a permanent signing this summer, however, it is believed Stoke officials are not willing to pay the €10m FC Porto want, possibly allowing the Hammers to snatch the player from under the Potters’ nose.

Martins Indi appeared in 35 Premier League matches for Stoke, putting in lots of impressive performances, finding the back of the net on one occasion, in a 4-2 loss against champions Chelsea on New Years Eve.
