Five Hammers with a point to prove this season

With a big summer ahead for the Hammers, the fans are eagerly awaiting major improvements to the side that finished 11th last time out.

Following last season, a few noticeable players didn’t perform unto expected standard and so the team needs to have an injection of new talent. It can be said however that West Ham do possess a lot of players that have the quality to at least push for a top 10 finish next season.

With pre-season just around the corner, and new players yet to be signed, it’s time for the whole team to step up and perform to what they’re capable of.

As we began our second campaign in the London Stadium, we certainly need some players to improve and with the performances strong, then our London Stadium may start to feel like home.

I’ve taken a look at five players who are destined for a big season in order to either break into the starting lineup or keep their place in it.
