# Dortmund, Monaco and Atletico Madrid join Onyekuru chase

West Ham are amongst those interested in signing highly-rated KAS Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru in the but they face some stiff competition for the Nigerian.

The [Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/31/football-transfers-rumour-mill-liverpool-manchester-city-gael-clichy) claim that Brighton, Swansea, RB Leipzig, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Mönchengladbach, Lyon, Lille, Monaco, Nice, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Fiorentina and Roma are all keen on signing the 19-year-old this summer.

Arsenal have already agreed a £6.8m fee with the Belgian Pro League side but are yet to settle personal terms with the striker, leaving the door open for the Hammers to swoop in.

Onyekuru netted 24 goals and provided nine assists in 41 games this past season and will be leaving Belgian football despite interest from Anderlecht and Club Brugge.

Slaven Bilic will enter the market for at least two new strikers in the summer and Onyekuru is someone the club are monitoring and may move for.

Top targets remain fellow Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho and Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi but West Ham aren’t close to agreeing a deal for either just yet.
