What does the future hold for West Ham’s loanees?

As the season draws to a close, this means that loan deals end too. In West Ham’s case, there are a number of future first team players waiting in the wings to find out their fate.

West Ham have endured an extremely turbulent season, which therefore may see the Hammers turn to the youngsters to revive a spark ahead of next season.

The Hammers over the years have been responsible for many tremendous young players coming through; the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole all making the step up through the academy to go on to play for some of the world’s best teams as well as their country.

With transfer news already heating up around the London Stadium, there is already decisions to be letting players go, Gokhan Tore and Alvaro Arbeloa namely.

But what will happen with these five youth players who have been out on loan all year? Have they proved they’re worthy of a first team opportunity, or will it be another year out on loan for the promising Hammers?
