# Right-backs who would make quality West Ham signings

Pretty much through the entire Slaven Bilic era, the club have struggled at right-back.

Carl Jenkinson was terrible during his second loan spell before getting injured, and his replacement Sam Byram has ben in and out of the team with injuries, let alone the fact that he’s still developing.

Bilic has been forced to thrust Michail Antonio, Havard Nordtveit and Cheikhou Kouyate in at right-back at various points this season and all three players are more effective elsewhere on the pitch.

West Ham need to invest this summer in another quality right-back to ease the pressure on the squad and to just give another option in defence where we have lacked depth at times this season.
