West Ham United 0-0 Everton: Five things we learned

On Saturday, West Ham faced their bogey team, Everton, at the London Stadium which finished 0-0. With a horrid past record against the Toffees, this draw felt amazing for the majority of West Ham fans.

Slaven Bilic didn’t have much choice with his starting 11 for this game with various injuries and suspensions but he made two massive decisions for his starting line-up, starting Adrian over Darren Randolph and changing shape back to a back five, both paid off.

With a somewhat experimental team, there were many things that could’ve come out of this game, both good or bad and the outcome was mostly good.

Although West Ham played well, the performance was helped by Everton not being at the races with many usual stand-out players not performing on the day like Ross Barkley, Tom Davies and Romelu Lukaku, who loves playing against the Hammers.

So here are the five things that we have learned from the game.
