History will tell you now that West Ham are safe from relegation. No team in Premier League history has been nine points clear of the drop with five games to play and been relegated.
Now the team is looking up and the aim is to secure a top half finish and with a win tomorrow, in addition to some helpful results, the Hammers could move into 10th, or at least close the gap.
The team that stands in our way is Everton who have been a bit of a bogey team for West Ham in recent years, and that’s mainly down to the form of Romelu Lukaku who’s netted in each of his last nine appearances against the Hammers.
How will West Ham deal with the Belgian and Everton at the London Stadium? Here is our predicted XI.
Adrian
The Spaniard has to be brought back into the side after Randolph made one mistake too many.
Havard Nordtveit
Nordtveit steps in at right-back with Byram suspended.
Jose Fonte
Fonte will anchor the defence on Saturday.
James Collins
Collins retains his place despite Reid returning from injury. He’s probably a week away.
Arthur Masuaku
Masuaku retains his place over Aaron Cresswell.
Cheikhou Kouyate
Kouyate will be the engine in the Hammers midfield.
Edimilson Fernandes
Fernandes continues to deputise for the suspended Mark Noble.
Manuel Lanzini
Lanzini will be the man that gets on the ball and dictates play in the final third.
Sofiane Feghouli
Feghouli replaces Snodgrass who has been poor in recent weeks.
Andre Ayew
Four goals in his last eight games now, Ayew is starting to chip in at the right end.
Diafra Sakho
With Andy Carroll injured, Diafra Sakho is in-line for his first start since November.
