Right-backs West Ham should look to sign

West Ham have encountered a plethora of problems throughout the course of the campaign so far but one of their main downfalls has been weaknesses in certain positions.

Whilst Slaven Bilic does genuinely have a good squad at his disposal, there are most certainly areas within the squad that need some work and could do with some bolstering.

So when the summer transfer window rolls around prior to the 2017/18 Premier League season, we think that the Croatian tactician should certainly look to sort out the problems at right-back.

Experienced Spanish defender Alvaro Arbeloa was brought in on a free in an attempt to fix the issue but he’s been absolutely abysmal when called upon. The problem has been made worse by the inconsistencies shown by Sam Byram at right-back, with Bilic clearly having second thoughts about his capability to be a consistent Premier League defender.

This has led to Cheikhou Kouyate, a natural defensive midfielder, operating on the right hand side of defence. It’s clear to see that the gap needs to be plugged in the summer transfer window.

So, here are some right-backs that West Ham should look to sign when the window opens!
