# Jonathan Biabiany teases about West Ham move

Having allowed Dimitri Payet to complete a £25m return to Marseille in January, West Ham brought in Robert Snodgrass to be a replacement of sorts and provide another option in wide areas.

West Ham don’t really **need** another winger for the time being with four very capable players who can play on either side, but one in Serie A has stoked the fire about a possible shock move to East London.

Jonathan Biabiany has spent his entire playing career in Serie A with Inter, Chievo, Modena, Sampdoria and two spells with Parma before returning to Inter on a free transfer in the summer of 2015, but he and his agent have hinted at a possible move to the Premier League.

Calciomercato put out a [post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/BPZxbjaApJD/) displaying odds for Biabiany’s next club, which player himself commented on with ‘West Ham’ which has sparked rumours linking him with a summer move.

The 28-year-old was targeted by Chelsea during the January transfer window but the move didn’t materialise, and his agent, Davide Bega, spoke to [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/inter-agente-biabiany-ecco-perche-ha-detto-no-al-chelsea-palermo-91158) this week about his client’s situation and that comment on Instagram.

When asked if Biabiany would like to play for West Ham, Bega answered: “Yes, he likes the London club”. Make of that what you will.

The former France U21 international has made just three appearances for Inter this season, all coming in the Europa League having been an unused sub in 19 Serie A games to date which has led to speculation that he could leave at the end of the season.
