Dimitri Payet has a history of quitting his club

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic today confirmed that Dimitri Payet has refused to play for the club and wants to leave.

Payet is actively seeking a move away from the London Stadium and is claimed to be in favour of a move back to his homeland, just over a year-and-a-half after he left France to come to West Ham.

The French international, without a doubt, has been West Ham’s best player for some time now and is certainly the most naturally talented player in the squad. However, it looks as though things have turned sour very quickly and the situation has become messy.

The Hammers will not let him go in the January transfer window as they look to reach a definitive conclusion to the ongoing debacle, in the hope that he will knuckle down.

However, he doesn’t have the best history when it comes to hanging around where he isn’t happy…
