# West Ham submit increased bid for Robert Snodgrass

West Ham have made an improved offer of £5m for Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass.

> Twitter: We understand West Ham have made an improved bid of around £5m for Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass. Their £3m bid was knocked back on Friday. (@SkySports\_Keith)

The Hammers had a £3m bid rejected for the Scottish international late last week and have added a further £2m on top of that in their latest bid.

Snodgrass seems keen to leave Hull City and was set to be out of contract in the summer but the Tigers exercised a clause to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

For a team deep in the midst of a relegation battle, accepting a £5m bid seems nonsensical, especially as the 29-year-old is their best player but West Ham seem keen on getting him at a low price.
