January striker targets for West Ham

Another dreadful foray into solving our dire striker situation has seen us with Simone Zaza. Not really involved with Juventus’ plans after signing him from a successful campaign with Sassuolo, he maybe thought proving himself in the Premier League would keep him in the Italian national side…

After not scoring once or even assisting in the Premier League, he is set to leave in January. And although we broke the bank for Andre Ayew (the jury is still out on him), he is still yet to deliver, that means we are left relying on the always injury prone Andy Carroll and our other striker Diafra Sakho is now injured (again) until the New Year.

I do believe Ashley Fletcher will come good also, and we have the burgeoning talent of Toni Martinez in the youth set up but what we need now is a proven goalscorer ready to finish games for us.

Here are the striker replacement’s I believe would be best for West Ham…

matchday.
