# Jese Rodriguez back on West Ham’s radar

West Ham will look into a deal to sign PSG attacker Jese Rodriguez on loan when the January transfer window opens up next month, according to the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/568506/West-Ham-transfer-news-Jese-Rodriguez-January-target-Hammers).

The former Real Madrid man was offered around to a number of European clubs in the summer, including West Ham before ultimately completing a £21m move to Ligue 1 champions PSG.

However things haven’t gone to plan for the former Spanish U21 international. He’s made just 13 appearances for PSG so far this season, starting just one Ligue 1 game and has 278 minutes of football under his belt.

Barely featuring under Unai Emery, Jese may be allowed to leave on loan until the end of the season during next month’s transfer window with both West Ham and Serie A side AS Roma said to be keen on taking him on a temporary basis.

The 23-year-old can offer some attacking versatility being able to play on both wings or as a central striker which would be of great use considering Gokhan Tore, Jonathan Calleri and Simone Zaza are all expected to have their loan deals cancelled in January.
