# West Ham eye loan move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek

West Ham United are interested in taking Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a six-month loan when the January transfer window opens, according to a report from Matt Law of [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/11/16/slaven-bilics-unlikely-friendship-with-chelsea-counterpart-anton/).

Chelsea think very highly of Loftus-Cheek but with them having no European football this season added to the fact that they are no longer in the League Cup, thanks to a defeat at West Ham, there aren’t many games in which he’s going to play.

Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante are the clear first choice partnership for Chelsea and as such, the 20-year-old will find game time difficult to come by. The odds are him are considerably high, especially with a [tvg promo code](https://betoclock.com/tvg-promo-code/).

Law reports that West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte have forged a friendship with their teams having already met each other twice this season and the relationship has apparently led to West Ham making an approach for Loftus-Cheek.

The England U21 international has a bright future ahead of him and would be a handy addition to West Ham’s squad.
