# Agent admits that Zaza could leave West Ham in January

Simone Zaza’s agent, who just so happens to be his father, has told [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-zaza-could-leave-west-ham-in-january-agent-says-50627) that there is still a possibility that his son could end his loan spell with West Ham in January and make a return to Italy.

The striker joined the Hammers on loan in the summer with a view to a permanent move at the end of the current campaign but he’s struggled to settle so far and with no goals in nine appearances, questions are already being asked about his suitability to Slaven Bilic’s side.

In an interview with Calciomercato, Zaza’s father admitted that his son is upset about not being called up the latest Italian national team squad and did not rule out the chance of a return to his homeland.

According to the report, if Zaza plays 14 games for the Hammers, the London club will activate the player’s option to buy, meaning any other interested parties must get their permission before signing the player.

Zaza’s father says he will travel to London and meet with West Ham officials on Saturday to discuss his son’s future and said that Zaza would “love” a move to Napoli or AC Milan.
