# West Ham Monthly Awards – October

After West Ham’s dismal September which saw them go throughout the month without a win in the Premier League, October was a much more profitable month for the Hammers.

In their five matches in all competitions, the Hammers won three, drew one and began to edge themselves away from the relegation zone.

The month started with a hard-fought draw at home to Middlesborough, followed up by a gutsy win away at Crystal Palace. A last-gasp win at the London Stadium against Sunderland made is three league matches unbeaten before the run was extended to four in all competitions with an EFL Cup triumph over Chelsea.

October ended on a downer after a nothing performance at Goodison Park saw the team succumb to Everton but all in all, the arrow is pointing in the right direction for Slaven Bilic and his side.

Here’re our monthly awards for October including best goal, best save, best player & team performances and of course, the player of the month.
