Five players who left West Ham too early

West Ham fans have been fortunate enough to watch some very talented players over the years, from entertainers like Paulo Di Canio to hard grafters and leaders like Scott Parker. The current batch of West Ham players includes a homegrown hero in Mark Noble, not to mention perhaps one of the most talented players to ever wear the West Ham shirt in Dimitri Payet.

Yet, despite the players who have remained and spent sufficient time at the club (as we all hope Dimitri Payet will), some players have left the club for various reasons and, from the fans perspective especially, definitely left too early. So here are five players who we at ReadWestHam feel left West Ham far too early and could have stayed, whether it was to see out their potential or to continue performing at the high level which saw them drawn away from the club in the first place.

matchday.
