# Domingos Quina scores brilliant goal for U23s

West Ham youngster Domingos Quina has scored a wondergoal for the U23 side against Leicester this week.

The 16-year-old, signed from Chelsea in the summer and spent the pre-season with the first-team, is one of the big names playing in our U23 side currently and is flourishing.

As the Hammers secured a 2-0 away victory over the Leicester City U23s in Premier League 2 action, the Portuguese U17 star scored this sensational 40-yard lob to double West Ham’s lead in the second half. (Video courtesy of [FFDTV Online](https://www.youtube.com/user/FFDTVOnline)).

Slaven Bilic handed Quina his professional debut in the Europa League qualifiers in the summer and he is a player Bilic and his coaching staff have a lot of faith in and we could see return to first-team action sooner than we think.

West Ham currently sit 18th in the Premier League table with just one win under their belts but managed to put a stop to a four-straight losing streak last weekend with a 1-1 home draw against Middlesbrough.
