# Predicted XI: West Ham vs. Southampton

After a much-needed win in midweek against Accrington Stanley to progress to the fourth round of the EFL Cup, West Ham now turn their attentions back to the Premier League with a visit from Southampton on the horizon.

In the corresponding fixture last season, West Ham ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a maiden Hammers goal for current Premier League top scorer Michail Antonio and a winner from Andy Carroll.

While West Ham are sitting 18th in desperate need of a win, the Saints also only have one win on the season but now have a striker in Charlie Austin who is finding the net on a regular basis.

Slaven Bilic made a host of changes to his side for the visit of the League 2 outfit on Wednesday but will likely revert back to his first-team stars with Southampton coming to town.

With that in mind, here is our predicted starting XI and bench for the Hammers this weekend in which is a must-win game, featuring eight first-team changes from midweek.
