Five Things We Learned: West Brom 4-2 West Ham

So West Ham have made it four losses from their first five matches in the Premier League and we have already evaluated the individual player performances. It is now time to take a look at some of the more in-depth issues that have come out of today’s game.

That’s now two 4-2 losses in a row for the Hammers and conceding eight goals in two games is relegation form – it is not acceptable and everything seems to have gone downhill since losing at home to FC Astra in the Europa League.

However, there are a couple of positives that we can take away from today’s game and hopefully it will not all be doom and gloom for West Ham this season in what is meant to be the beginning of a new chapter in the club’s history.

Here are five things we learned from the awful loss to West Bromwich Albion.

matchday.
