# Player Ratings: West Ham 2-4 Watford

Anyone else wish the game ended after 40 minutes?

The first 40 minutes of that game was the West Ham I had been promised – a team full of attacking flair and creativity, clinical in attack and energised the crowd.

The rest of the game was the West Ham I have feared and seen too many glimpses of – shambolic at the back, lacking decisiveness and guile, too open too often and on the whole just awful.

Slaven Bilic and his coaching staff have a lot of work to do ahead of the trip to West Brom next week to get these issues in line.

In what should’ve been a fresh start to the season for the Hammers was just a dangerous warning shot of what might be if things don’t change – fast.
